Steve's Landing March 7 2004
Ed and Marion Herndon, S/V Remedy
It was quite an Armada. There were five Powerboats and
eight Sailboats in the fleet. This might be a record for a Steve's
Landing cruise. Sailing down in East Bay we were treated to a favorable
North wind. Remedy
with Dave and Cynthia Powell along, Gugi with
Howard and Susan Green visiting , Selah, It'll Do, and Stray Cat
were the East bay crowd. Stray Cat pulled
a fast one on the fleet and took the shortcut through Sievers cut. They
were all tied up at the pier and partying when the rest of us
arrived. Powerboats Utopia, Royal Salute and
Bad to the Bone
with David and Lorna Glasscock aboard, were also there to greet and tie
up the Sailboats. Lazy Lady, Promise and Casa Caribe came
later by HSC and ICW. Still later the fast boats, Sea Cruise and Weekend@Bernies,
arrived; they had stopped off for lunch on the way.

Doctails on the Deck
Bert and Lillian Olaveri came by car.
Also Tom and Sally Curran,
and George and Joyce Collett

The wind was nice enough to clock around to the South for our trip
back. The breeze was light and all were safely home by mid afternoon.
