Had a whirlwind trip down to Sarasota to see Bob and Evone once again.

They have a fabulous home on Siesta Key and keep their boats just down the block  at Riegel's Harbor. They recently bought a powerboat to do the Great Loop. We were surprised, because there was no word of doing the Loop when we met last time in Venice.

I just had to experiment with making a digital panoramic view of their house.

It turned out just fine... This is four photos stiched together using QStitch.exe from Enroute software. see them at www.enroute.com to get a copy.
 

These fine friends threw a cocktail party and dinner in our honor.  We got to meet a dozen of their sailing friends.  It was a splendid evening. Photo taken through the mirror.

 

This is a more conventional shot taken without the Mirror. Bob later demonstrated his unique ability to fly using the full wall mirror. Standing at one end with half his body showing and half hidden by the mirror, he invited me to place my head against the mirror at the far end from him. .

I did so, and could see him and his reflection as two halves joined in the mirror. He then raised his right arm and right leg and appeared to fly away.  It was a wonderful trick...

I promised Bob a copy of the Great Loop Report on CD.

Here is what you do to run it.

Put the CD in your drive.
Open the File folder named gloop
In the folder there is a file named: sarasota.html
Double click on the file and you should see Internet Explorer launch... This takes a minute or so.
Then you will see this document appear on your screen.
