Galveston to Rome May 6 to May 26 2006

It was February when Charlotte said,  "This deal is just too good to pass up. Come cruise with us to Rome. 16 days $1600. That's just $50 per person per day!"


I must admit she has a great way of selling Cruises. I didn't tell Marion about it right away but went to the Internet to verify the deal was real.


Next day I said, " Oh, Marion, (I never say Oh unless it is a serious matter) Charlotte called to say she just booked a trip for Rome on one of those relocation cruise deals. She and Sam want us to join them.  What do you think?"

"That could be fun, can we do it with all the other stuff we have planned? " she asked.

I went into sales mode and used Charlotte's pitch verbatim. Then I added the list of ports we would see...  "Key West,  Nassau, Azores, Lisbon, Mallorca then Rome; all that, and we leave out of Galveston."

We have visited Key West and Nassau but all the other places would be new experiences... Especially Rome.
