Our stop in Key West  gave us an opportunity to visit with Robby and Helen Loadman.

You may remember them from our trip to the Bahamas in 2001.  They were Cruising aboard  their sail boat Westwind .
Our Generator exhaust was making life miserable for them in the crowded anchorage at Man-O-War Cay.
They were directly down wind of us. We volunteered to swap places with them. We would gain Privacy,, they got clean air.

We met them again three days later in  Green Turtle Bay  where they showed us around the Island and took us to their favorite Beach...

We have maintained contact with them over the years by Email.

This summer they are making a move ashore...  They have found a place in Up State New York.

"We lived aboard during all three Hurricanes that passed our way last year." Robbie explained.
'The boat did fine but we got roughed up a bit. Its time to move ashore..."

We had a great Lunch with them PT'S Late Night Bar and Grill. Marion had the Blackened Grouper sandwich.
I had the Roast Cuban Style Pork. Ranking ***$$+

After lunch they volunteered to take us shopping to Bealls Outlet... I was in drastic need of underware...
I distinctly remember counting out a dozen boxers to pack... They did not however make it into my suitcase..

We did miss taking the Tour Train ... but we did buy some Vodka and Tonic and Wine to Enjoy in our cabin..
The Prices for drinks in the bars aboard ship were driving me not to drink!
